Why Maternity Advantage Is Here

The American Maternity Association estimates that over 780,000 American women carry to term without insurance each year, though only a fraction of those women know that assistance is available. And because there is no insurance company to audit their medical bills, uninsured women pay an average of 2.57 times more for the same procedures.

Escalating health care costs coupled with diminishing insurance opportunities have forced many pregnant women to forgo proper prenatal care because they do not know what help is available. The result is quite harmful to themselves and their babies.

Our clients are predominately employed women who make too little to afford health insurance, too much for social services eligibility and whose employers do not offer health insurance.

Other clients include those who are under health insurance policies that do not provide adequate coverage for prenatal and childbirth-related costs. Often, these women find out too late that their pregnancy benefits are slim to non-existent.

Please do not refer if the expectant mom has Medicaid or Maternity Insurance.

Our maternity Specialist will explain all aspects of the advocacy program to the expectant mom including qualifications, services, cost and enroll them on your behalf. All notes, calls etc are found in your Trinity back office.
